On Sunday, 17 th April the Lucchese foot race Trophy held its 24th non- competative event ” Understanding San Pietro in Campo” organised by the town’s committee.

Enrolments took place in San Pietro in Campo Church, and the marathon started between 7.30 and 9 am. This was a footrace for all ages and abilities, also for those with reduced motor skills, the track being suitable for all.

Four in all the itineraries, 2-5-10-18 kilometres.

A welcoming snack was served by La Terrazza di Albiano as the runners arrived in the village.
