Opera Barga, considered to be a precious jewel of ideas, methods and talents in the theatrical world with the objective to help to train and launch young talented singers and musicians, will host the prestigious composition course run by the Prix de Rome winner Francesco Filidei and Yann Robin. 10 composers were selected out of 32 candidates from all over the world that took part in the composition competition in a few months ago and they will have the opportunity to work with the two composer/teachers on their compositions here in Barga: Alican Camci USA – Elvira Garifzyanova RUSSIA – Brice Gatinet FRANCIA Wei-Chieh Lin TAIWAN Silvia Pepe ITALY Lorenzo Restagno ITALY Gianni Santini ITALY Naoki Sakata GIAPPONE Zihua Tan MALESIA Maria Teresa Treccozzi ITALY.
The course will take place from the 21st to the 28th of June in Casa Cordati and it will end in the beautiful Cloister of the Conservatory Santa Elisabetta with 2 concerts of the compositions for flute, clarinette, violin and cello performed by Contempoartensemble on the 27th and 28th of June at 21,15.
