To encourage the younger members and friends of the Italian community, the CoCAIS is planning a Sunday afternoon Befana party for children aged 8 and under. The event will be held in Glasgow on Sunday January 4 2009, 2-4pm.
If you have a child or grandchild, nephew or neice who might like to come along, please go to our website http://www.italianscotland.com and print off an application form. (Form is to be found under “Events” on right hand menu of the homepage) This should be filled in and forwarded (together with payment) to Cav Adriano De Marco, 58 Beardmore Way, Clydebank Industrial Estate, Clydebank, Glasgow G81 4HT. Cost will be subsidised so the charge per child is just £5 which includes a present and a calza ripiena (stocking filled with sweets). Accompanying adults can enjoy a glass of festive spumante and a slice of panettone while the children eat, meet La Befana and enjoy meeting new friends.
